The 3M 3448-89110 is a strain relief accessory designed for the 891 series IDC ribbon cable sockets. It accommodates 10 positions and is intended for use with 0.050 inch pitch cable. The strain relief provides mechanical support to prevent cable damage at the connection point.
Electrical specifications include a maximum current rating of 1.25 A (28 AWG, all lines, 30°C max temp rise, 20% derated) and a withstanding voltage of 1000 V RMS at sea level.
