The 3M 3432-6002 is a 40-position, 2-row, through-hole header designed for board-to-board or cable applications. It features a shrouded 4-wall design with a keying slot and mounting flange for secure alignment. Contacts are made of copper alloy with square male pins and a tin-lead finish (30µin thickness). The insulation is black polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) with glass-filled polyester, rated UL94 V-0 for flammability. The header has a pitch of 2.54mm (0.100") and a row spacing of 2.54mm. It is rated for 1A continuous current and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 105°C. The overall contact length is 16.56mm (0.652") with a mating contact length of 2.84mm (0.112"). Termination is through-hole solder. The push-pull fastening type allows easy mating and unmating.
