The 3M 3428-L302 is a 20-position, 2-row, 2.54mm pitch, right angle, shrouded header designed for board-to-board or cable applications. It features a 4-wall shrouding with keying slot and mounting flange for secure alignment and polarization. The insulator is made of black PCT/glass filled polyester with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating, suitable for a wide operating temperature range of -55°C to 105°C.
Contacts are made of copper alloy with a tin-lead finish (0.76µm thickness) and have a square shape and male pin type. The current rating is 1A. The fastening mechanism includes latch lock/eject hooks for reliable mating. Termination is through solder, and the mounting type is through hole, right angle.
This header is suitable for various industrial, test, and measurement applications where a compact, right-angle connection is required.
