The 3M 3415-0002 is a female card edge connector from the 3000 Series, designed for reliable interconnection with PC boards. It has 50 positions in a dual readout configuration with a 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch. Termination is via IDC for 26 to 28 AWG solid or stranded wire. The connector is panel mount with flush mount slotted flanges and a top opening, unthreaded mounting hole of 0.125" (3.18mm) diameter.
The insulator is gray glass filled polyester (PBT) with a UL 94V-0 flammability rating. Contacts are copper alloy with 30 μ″ (0.76 μm) gold plating in the wiping area over 100 μ″ (2.54 μm) nickel underplating. Electrical ratings include 1 A current, >1 × 10^9 Ω insulation resistance at 500 VDC, and 1000 Vrms withstanding voltage at sea level. Operating temperature range is -55°C to +105°C. The connector is RoHS3 compliant.
