The SCHURTER UST 1206 series SMD fuse is a compact surface-mount fuse designed for high-current circuit protection. With a current rating of 25A and voltage ratings of 32VAC and 63VDC, it provides reliable overcurrent protection in a 1206 (3216 metric) package.
The fuse features a slow blow (time-lag) characteristic, making it suitable for circuits with high inrush currents such as LCD backlight inverters and general DC-AC converter applications. Its breaking capacity is rated at 100A at rated voltage, with the capability to handle higher fault currents depending on the specific variant.
Mechanically, the fuse is housed in a fiber-reinforced plastic case (UL 94V-0) with copper, Ni/Au-plated terminals. It operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 90°C and is rated MSL 1 for moisture sensitivity. The component is RoHS and REACH compliant and carries cURus approval.
