The Schurter UST 1206 series SMD fuse (part number 3413.0329.22) provides reliable overcurrent protection for secondary DC and AC circuits. Rated at 12A with a voltage rating of 32VAC and 63VDC, this slow blow (time-lag T) fuse handles high inrush currents common in LCD backlight inverters and power supply circuits.
Housed in a compact 1206 (3216 Metric) surface mount package measuring 3.20mm x 1.60mm x 0.60mm, it features fiber-reinforced plastic housing (UL 94V-0) with copper, Ni/Au-plated terminals. The fuse offers a high melting I²t of 33 A²s and a breaking capacity of 100A at rated voltage.
Approved by cURus (UL UR file E41599) and TUV, it meets MSL 1 moisture sensitivity level and operates across -55°C to 90°C ambient temperature. The time-lag characteristic makes it suitable for circuits with capacitive or inductive inrush currents where a fast-acting fuse would nuisance-open.
