The Schurter UMF 250 series 3405.0173.24 is a surface mount fast blow fuse designed for primary and secondary protection on SMD PCBs. With a current rating of 5A and voltage rating of 250VAC / 125VDC, it offers a breaking capacity range of 100A to 500A. The fast-acting characteristic ensures rapid interruption in overcurrent conditions, with a low melting I²t value of 13.57 A²s for sensitive circuit protection.
This fuse is housed in a ceramic 2-SMD square end block package measuring 10.10mm x 3.00mm x 3.00mm. It is suitable for reflow and wave soldering, with solderability tested at 245°C for 3 seconds and resistance to soldering heat at 260°C for 10 seconds per IEC 60068-2-58.
