The Schurter 3404.0017.22 is a board mount surface mount fuse from the OMF 125 series. It is rated for 5A continuous current and 125VAC/125VDC with a breaking capacity of 100A. The fuse features a fast blow (quick-acting) characteristic, making it suitable for protecting sensitive circuits where rapid overcurrent interruption is required.
This fuse is designed for direct soldering onto printed circuit boards using reflow or wave soldering processes. It comes in a compact 2-SMD J-Lead package measuring 7.4mm x 3.1mm x 2.6mm and weighing only 0.08g. The housing is made of thermoplastic with UL 94V-0 flammability rating, and the terminals are copper alloy with tin plating.
