The Schurter 3404.0012.24 is a 2A rated, fast blow (quick-acting) surface mount fuse from the OMF 125 series. It is designed for direct soldering onto printed circuit boards and is rated for 125VAC and 125VDC operation with a breaking capacity of 100A at rated voltage. The fuse is housed in a compact 7.4mm x 3.1mm x 2.6mm 2-SMD J-Lead package, making it suitable for space-constrained applications.
This fuse features a thermoplastic housing with UL 94V-0 flammability rating and tin-plated copper alloy terminals. It is compatible with reflow and wave soldering processes, with a solderability rating of 245°C for 3 seconds and resistance to soldering heat of 260°C for 10 seconds. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 125°C, with storage conditions of 0°C to 60°C and maximum 70% relative humidity.
The OMF 125 series carries cURus approval and complies with UL 248-14 and CSA22.2 No. 248.14 standards. The melting I²t is 0.44 A²s, and insulation resistance exceeds 100 MΩ. The fuse is rated MSL 1 (moisture sensitivity level 1) per J-STD-020.
