The Schurter 3403.0270.23 is a 400mA time-lag (slow-blow) surface mount fuse from the UMT-H series. It is designed for primary protection on SMD PCBs and is rated for 277VAC and 250VDC with a high breaking capacity of 1.5kA. The fuse features a ceramic housing with nickel/tin-plated copper alloy terminals and is housed in a 2-SMD square end block package measuring 15.40mm x 5.35mm x 5.35mm.
This time-lag fuse is suitable for applications with pulse-shaped continuous currents, such as in power supplies, sensors, illumination, and battery protection circuits. It is designed to withstand high inrush currents without nuisance opening. The fuse is impermeable to potting compounds, enabling its use in intrinsically safe applications per ATEx and IECEx requirements.
The UMT-H series fuse is designed according to IEC 60127-7 and UL 248-14 standards and is suitable for applications per IEC/UL 62368-1. It holds approvals from VDE, cURus, and CQC.
