The Schurter 3403.0156.11 is a surface mount time-lag T fuse from the UMT 250 series. It is rated for 100 mA, 250 VAC and up to 125 VDC, with a breaking capacity of 200 A at 250 VAC (IEC) and 35 A at 125 VDC. The time-lag characteristic makes it suitable for circuits with moderate inrush currents.
The fuse is housed in a compact 10.10mm x 3.00mm x 3.00mm ceramic body with tin-plated copper alloy terminals, designed for reflow and wave soldering. It operates over -55 °C to 125 °C and has MSL 1 moisture sensitivity.
Typical applications include primary protection on SMD PCBs, medical equipment, and battery protection circuits. The UMT 250 series offers high breaking capacity in a minimal footprint and is impermeable to potting compounds for use in intrinsically safe applications per ATEx and IECEx.
