The Heyco 3401 is a liquid tight threaded hole plug designed to seal threaded openings in electrical enclosures, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Constructed from Nylon 6/6, it is non-conductive and resistant to corrosion, salt water, weak acids, gasoline, alcohol, oil, grease, and common solvents. The plug features a PG 21 thread and a hex-shaped head with a slot for installation using a wrench or screwdriver. Key dimensions include a wrenching flats of 32.8 mm, overall length of 17.3 mm, and head thickness of 5.3 mm. The plug is rated IP68 for dust and water ingress protection, and is suitable for NEMA 3R, 4, and 4X applications. It can operate in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +105°C and has a flammability rating of UL 94V-2. The integral sealing ring ensures a liquid-tight seal up to 70 psi. The plug is recognized under the UL Component Program with File E330194, meeting both Canadian and US requirements. Standard color is gray, with black also available.
