The 3M 3365/50 is a 50 conductor flat ribbon cable with 28 AWG stranded tinned copper conductors on 0.05 inch (1.27 mm) pitch. The cable has a gray PVC jacket, is unshielded, and is rated for 300V with an operating temperature range of -20°C to +105°C. It features a zippable design for easy branching or discrete termination and is compatible with mass-termination IDC connectors.
Electrical characteristics include a characteristic impedance of 102 ohms unbalanced and 172 ohms balanced, capacitance of 14.47 pF/ft unbalanced and 8.14 pF/ft balanced, and propagation delay of 1.47 ns/ft unbalanced and 1.4 ns/ft balanced. The cable has a velocity of propagation of 69% unbalanced and 73% balanced.
The cable is UL Style 2651 rated with flammability ratings of VW-1 (USA) and FT1 (Canada). It is available in a 500 ft length on a spool. The 3365 series is designed for internal wiring of electronic equipment and cable assemblies.
