The Rosenberger 32K242-40ML5 is an SMA right angle jack PCB connector designed for high-frequency applications up to 18 GHz. It offers a 50 Ohm impedance with a maximum VSWR of 1.1 + 0.02f (f in GHz) and insertion loss of ≤ 0.03 × f (GHz) dB. The connector is rated for a working voltage of 480 V rms and can handle up to 200 W at 2 GHz and 100 W at 10 GHz under specified conditions.
This connector uses a threaded fastening type and solder termination for both center and outer contacts. The center contact is made of beryllium copper with gold plating (min. 0.15 µm over chemical nickel), and the outer contact is brass with the same gold plating. The dielectric material is PTFE. It is designed for board edge cutout mounting with a right angle configuration.
The 32K242-40ML5 meets interface standards IEC 60169-15, EN 122110, and MIL-STD-348A. It is RoHS compliant and has an operating temperature range of -65°C to +165°C. The connector is packaged in blister format with a sales unit quantity of 200.
