The 32CTQ030S is a dual Schottky rectifier diode array from Vishay Dale, configured as a common cathode pair. Each diode is rated for a maximum average forward current of 15 A, giving the device a combined current rating of 30 A. The maximum DC reverse voltage is 30 V, and the device is designed for reliable operation over a junction temperature range of -55 °C to 150 °C.
Electrical characteristics include a typical forward voltage of 0.49 V at 15 A and 25 °C, decreasing to 0.40 V at 125 °C. Reverse leakage current is typically 1.75 mA at 30 V and 25 °C, rising to 97 mA at 125 °C. The device can handle non-repetitive peak surge currents up to 900 A and features a junction capacitance of 1300 pF.
The Schottky barrier technology provides a low forward voltage drop and supports high-frequency operation, making the 32CTQ030S suitable for switching power supplies, converters, freewheeling diodes, and reverse battery protection circuits. The dual common cathode configuration shares a common cathode connection, reducing component count in designs requiring two rectifier diodes.
The 32CTQ030S is supplied in a surface-mount TO-263-3 (D²PAK) package with a supplier device package of TO-263AB. The D²PAK package provides a low thermal resistance of 3.25 K/W junction-to-case, aiding heat dissipation in high-current applications.
The maximum DC reverse voltage and maximum working peak reverse voltage are both 30 V.
Each diode is rated for a maximum average forward current of 15 A, giving 30 A total for the dual device (at Tc = 115 °C, 50% duty cycle, rectangular waveform).
At 15 A and 25 °C, the typical forward voltage is 0.49 V; at 125 °C it decreases to 0.40 V.
The 32CTQ030S is available in a surface-mount TO-263-3 (D²PAK) package, also specified as TO-263AB (D²PAK).
The junction operating temperature range is -55 °C to 150 °C.
The device can handle a non-repetitive peak surge current of 900 A (5 µs sine or 3 µs rect. pulse).
The diode configuration is 1 pair common cathode.
