This TE Connectivity 32151 is a butt splice connector designed for splicing two wires of 12-10 AWG (2.62-6.64 mm²) gauge. It accommodates both solid and stranded copper wire and uses a crimp termination method. The splice is non-insulated and features a serrated mating area to ensure secure mechanical and electrical connections. The barrel has an inside diameter of 3.28 mm and an outside diameter of 5.74 mm, with a material thickness of 0.99 mm. The overall length is 14.35 mm.
The connector is constructed from copper with a tin plating, providing good conductivity and corrosion resistance. It is rated for continuous operation up to 170°C. The splice includes six serrations for enhanced grip on the wire. It is not sealable and does not include wire insulation support.
