The TE Connectivity 320565 is a PIDG series ring terminal designed for reliable wire termination in demanding environments. It accepts 14-16 AWG wire and features a #8 stud size for secure ring connection. The terminal is constructed from high conductivity copper per ASTM B-152, with a tin plating per ASTM B-545 for corrosion resistance. The insulated nylon sleeve, rated UL 94V-2, provides electrical insulation and is color-coded blue for easy identification.
This terminal is rated for 300V operating voltage and 105°C maximum temperature. It features a serrated inner barrel for maximum electrical contact and tensile strength. The copper metallic sleeve crimps to the wire insulation for added strain relief and vibration resistance. Termination is crimp style, and the mounting type is free hanging (in-line).
Typical applications include instruments and control panels, lighting, power supplies, panel boxes, transportation equipment, lifting equipment, motors, aerospace, and appliances.
