The TE Connectivity 320554 is a ring terminal from the PIDG series, designed for uniform reliability in harsh circuit environments. It features a high conductivity copper terminal body with tin plating for corrosion resistance. The inner serrations in the wire barrel ensure maximum electrical contact and tensile strength.
This terminal accommodates 16-22 AWG wire and is terminated with a crimp connection. The insulation is red nylon, colour-coded for easy identification of wire size. The operating temperature range is up to 105°C, and the maximum operating voltage is 300V.
PIDG terminals include a copper sleeve that crimps to the wire insulation for added vibration resistance and support. They are UL/CSA listed and Mil-Spec approved, making them suitable for use in instruments, control panels, lighting, power supplies, transportation, aerospace, and lifting equipment.
The terminal has a length of 20.24 mm, width of 7.14 mm, and thickness of 0.79 mm. It is designed for free hanging (in-line) mounting.
