The 31GF6-E3/54 is an ultrafast plastic rectifier diode from Vishay General Semiconductor. It features a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 600V and an average forward current of 3A at a lead temperature of 110°C. The forward voltage drop is typically 1.6V at 3A, and the reverse recovery time is 30ns, enabling efficient high-frequency switching.
This diode can handle a non-repetitive peak forward surge current of 90A for an 8.3ms half sine-wave, making it robust for transient conditions. The operating junction temperature range is -40°C to 150°C. The device is packaged in a DO-201AD axial lead case, suitable for through-hole mounting. The leads are matte tin plated and solderable per J-STD-002 and JESD 22-B102.
Typical applications include high frequency rectification, freewheeling diodes in switching mode power supplies, and converters for consumer, computer, and telecommunication equipment. The part is RoHS compliant and meets UL 94 V-0 flammability rating.
