The METZ CONNECT 31169105 is a 5-position pluggable screw terminal block from the Type 169 series. It features female sockets and a screw rising cage clamp termination for secure wire connections. The plug has a 3.50 mm pitch and is designed for free hanging (in-line) mounting. Electrical ratings include a rated current of 5 A (IEC) and multiple voltage ratings: 32 V (overvoltage category III, pollution degree 3), 250 V (III/2 and II/2). UL approval also lists 10 A at 150 V. The terminal accommodates solid wires from 0.08 to 1.5 mm² (AWG 28-16) and stranded wires from 0.08 to 1 mm² (AWG 28-16). The housing is made of PA66 with V0 flammability rating, and the screw terminals use M2 steel grade 8.8 screws with Zn Cr(VI)-free plating. The product offers IP20 protection and operates from -40°C to 105°C. It is suitable for various industrial and building automation applications.
