The Schurter 3101.0055 is a shock-safe fuseholder from the FPG5 series designed for 5mm x 20mm cartridge fuses. It features a closed construction with a horizontal PCB mounting orientation and PC pin solder terminals, making it suitable for applications requiring reliable circuit protection.
Electrically, the holder is rated at 10 A (VDE) with 250 VAC and 16 A (UL/CSA) with 500 V. It accepts a power dissipation of up to 2.5 W at 10 A (IEC) and offers a contact resistance of ≤10 mΩ. Dielectric strength exceeds 3 kV between live parts, and impulse withstand voltage exceeds 4 kV. Insulation resistance is ≥10 MΩ.
The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C, with a storage range of 0°C to 60°C and max 70% RH. The socket is molded from thermoplastic (UL 94V-0) and terminals are copper alloy with tin plating. The unit weighs 4.31 g and is protected to IP40.
Approved to VDE and UL/CSA safety standards, the fuseholder is suitable for protection class I equipment per IEC 61140. Typical applications include household appliances and medical equipment.
