The Littelfuse 30R500UMR is a polymeric PTC resettable fuse from the 30R Series. It provides overcurrent protection for low voltage applications up to 30V. With a hold current of 5.00 A at 20°C still air, it will not trip under normal operating conditions. The trip current is 10.00 A minimum, ensuring reliable protection. The device can withstand fault currents up to 40 A without damage. Typical power dissipation in tripped state is 3.0 W. The maximum time to trip at 25 A is 14.5 seconds. Initial resistance is as low as 0.010 Ω, and post-trip resistance is maximum 0.050 Ω. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C. The device is housed in a radial disc package with lead spacing of 10.20 mm. It is RoHS compliant, lead-free, and halogen-free. Applications include USB hubs, computer peripherals, motor protection, and general electronics.
