The 30KPA75CA is a bidirectional TVS diode from Littelfuse's 30KPA series designed to protect sensitive electronic circuits from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 75V, a minimum breakdown voltage of 83.58V (at 50mA), and a maximum clamping voltage of 119.4V. The device can handle a peak pulse current of 253.8A and a peak pulse power dissipation of 30kW (10/1000μs waveform).
With a fast response time of less than 1.0 ps, the 30KPA75CA provides rapid protection against ESD events, meeting IEC-61000-4-2 (30kV air and contact). It is housed in a P600 axial leaded package for through-hole mounting, suitable for applications in telecom, industrial, and consumer electronics where robust transient suppression is required.
The diode operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 175°C and offers low leakage current (5mA at rated voltage). It is halogen free, RoHS compliant, and has a Pb-free E3 finish. The glass passivated chip junction ensures reliability, and the device is UL recognized for isolated loop circuit protection.
