The 30BQ040 is a 40V, 3A Schottky rectifier designed for applications such as disk drives, switching power supplies, redundant power subsystems, converters, free-wheeling diodes, reverse battery protection, and battery charging. The device features low forward voltage drop (0.47V typ at 3A, 25°C) and high surge current capability (80A). It is housed in a surface-mount DO-214AB (SMC) package with tin lead-free plated terminals. The junction temperature range is -55°C to +125°C, and storage temperature range is -55°C to +150°C. The device is Pb-free and RoHS compliant (unverified).
