Alpha Wire 3081 OR001 is a 10 AWG stranded hook-up wire designed for general-purpose internal wiring of electronic and electrical equipment. The conductor is composed of 105 strands of 30 AWG tinned copper, providing excellent flexibility and corrosion resistance. The insulation is a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) jacket with a thickness of 0.81mm, an outer diameter of 4.67mm, and a distinctive orange color for easy identification in wiring harnesses.

This wire is rated for 600 volts and operates reliably across a wide temperature range from -40°C to 105°C. It complies with UL Style 1015 and 1230, and is also certified per ISO 10993, indicating biological compatibility for medical and healthcare applications. The wire is supplied on a 1000-foot (304.8m) spool, making it ideal for production runs and installations requiring long continuous runs.
