The Edac 307-056-500-202 is a dual readout female card edge connector from the 307 series, designed for use with printed circuit boards. It employs 0.156" (3.96mm) contact spacing and 0.200" (5.08mm) row spacing, accepting a nominal 0.062" (1.57mm) thick PCB. The connector features 56 total contacts arranged in two rows, with dual readout capability. Contacts are made of copper alloy with gold plating on the mating area and tin plating on the tails, with nickel underplating. The semi-bellows contact design ensures reliable electrical connection.
Electrical specifications include a 5A current rating, 10 milliohms maximum contact resistance, 1800V AC rms dielectric withstanding voltage at sea level, and 5000 megohms minimum insulation resistance. The connector operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C. Mechanical characteristics include an insertion force of 16 oz maximum per contact pair (tested with 0.070" gauge) and a withdrawal force of 1 oz minimum per contact pair (tested with 0.054" gauge).
Mounting is through hole with solder eyelet termination options. The insulator is made of green UL 94V-0 rated thermoplastic polyester. The housing has flush mount, top opening, unthreaded flange features with 0.128" (3.25mm) diameter mounting holes. This connector is RoHS3 compliant.
