The Keystone Electronics 3002TR is a surface mount coin cell retainer designed for 20mm diameter batteries. It accommodates a single cell and supports battery series 2016, 2020, 2025, and 2032. The retainer features a height above board of 3.96mm (0.156 inches) and uses SMD (SMT) tab termination for easy PCB mounting.
Constructed from phosphor bronze with a tin-nickel plate, this retainer is compatible with both wave and reflow soldering processes. The solder tails are located outside the retainer body to facilitate visual inspection of solder joints. The tin-nickel plating is suitable for lead-free, high-temperature soldering applications.
The 3002TR is available on tape and reel for automated assembly. It is designed for use in a variety of battery-powered devices requiring a reliable coin cell connection.
