The Schurter TA36 series circuit breaker is a 2-pole thermal-magnetic device rated for 3A continuous current at 277VAC (UL/CSA) or 240VAC (IEC). It offers a compact panel-mount design with a rocker actuator and IP40 front-side protection.
Electrical specifications include a dielectric strength of >2.5kV at 50Hz and >4kV impulse, insulation resistance >100MΩ at 500VDC, and a conditional short-circuit capacity of 2kA at 240VAC. The breaker is rated for 50,000 mechanical switching cycles and 30,000 electrical cycles (1-pole) or 50,000 (2-pole) at rated current.
Operating temperature range is -30°C to 60°C with storage from -40°C to 60°C. The device weighs 32g for the 2-pole variant and is approved by CCC, CE, cURus, and VDE.
The rated voltage is 240VAC (IEC) and 277VAC (UL/CSA). For DC, it is 32VDC (1-pole) or 60VDC (2-pole).
The allowable operating temperature range is -30°C to 60°C.
The breaker is panel mount with a rocker actuator.
It is approved by CCC, CE, cURus, and VDE.
The mechanical lifetime is 50,000 switching cycles for 1- and 2-pole versions.
