The 3.0SMCJ24A-13 is a 3000W surface-mount transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode from Diodes Incorporated. It is designed for general purpose applications to protect sensitive electronics from voltage transients. The device features a standoff voltage of 24V and a clamping voltage of 38.9V, with a peak pulse current capability of 77.1A. It is unidirectional and comes in a DO-214AB (SMC) package suitable for surface mount assembly.
The TVS diode offers high ESD protection with IEC 61000-4-2 ratings of 30kV air and contact discharge, HBM 8kV, CDM 1kV, and MM 800V. It has a capacitance of 3000pF at 1MHz.
