The 3.0SMCJ20A-13 is a 3000W surface-mount transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode from Diodes Incorporated. It is designed to protect sensitive electronic circuits from voltage transients induced by lightning, inductive load switching, and electrostatic discharge (ESD).
This unidirectional device features a reverse standoff voltage (VRWM) of 20V and a maximum clamping voltage of 32.4V at a peak pulse current (Ipp) of 62.6A. It offers excellent ESD protection with ratings of 30kV (Air) and 30kV (Contact) per IEC 61000-4-2, as well as HBM 8kV, CDM 1kV, and MM 800V.
