The 2SC3852A is a silicon NPN triple diffused planar transistor designed for general purpose driver applications. It features a high DC current gain (hFE) of 500 minimum at 4V VCE and 0.5A IC, and a low collector-emitter saturation voltage of 0.5V maximum at 2A IC and 50mA base current.
This transistor is rated for a maximum collector-emitter voltage of 80V, a collector-base voltage of 100V, and a continuous collector current of 3A. It can dissipate up to 25W of power at a case temperature of 25°C. The device has a typical transition frequency of 15MHz and an output capacitance of 50pF.
