The 2SB1124T-TD-E is a PNP bipolar junction transistor from On Semiconductor designed for general-purpose switching and amplification. It offers a maximum collector-emitter voltage of 50V and a continuous collector current of 3A (6A pulse). The device features low collector-to-emitter saturation voltage (700mV max at 2A) and fast switching speeds with typical turn-on time of 70ns, storage time 650ns, and fall time 35ns.
Electrical characteristics include a DC current gain (hFE) of 200 minimum at 100mA/2V and 35 minimum at 3A/2V. The gain-bandwidth product is 150 MHz typical. Output capacitance is 39 pF typical. Maximum collector dissipation is 500mW (1.5W when mounted on a ceramic substrate). Operating and storage temperature range up to 150°C.
The transistor is housed in a PCP surface mount package (SC-62, SOT-89, TO-243AA) with pinout: base, collector, emitter. It is available in tape and reel packaging. The part is lead-free (Pb Free) and RoHS3 compliant (unverified). It is not halogen-free; the TD-H variant is halogen-free.
Typical applications include voltage regulators, relay drivers, lamp drivers, and other electrical equipment requiring medium-power switching. The device is complementary to the NPN 2SD1624T-TD-E.
