The 2N5191 is an NPN silicon power transistor designed for use in power amplifier and switching circuits. It features a maximum collector-emitter voltage of 60V, a continuous collector current of 4A, and a power dissipation of 40W at a case temperature of 25°C.
The transistor offers a DC current gain (hFE) of at least 25 at 1.5A collector current and 2V collector-emitter voltage, and a minimum of 10 at 4A. The collector-emitter saturation voltage is typically 1.4V at 1A base current and 4A collector current. The transition frequency is 2 MHz.
