The 2DD2652-7 is an NPN bipolar junction transistor from Diodes Incorporated, designed for low power amplification and switching applications. It features a low collector-emitter saturation voltage (typical 80mV at 500mA) and high DC current gain (270 to 680 at 200mA). The device is rated for a collector-emitter voltage of 12V, collector-base voltage of 15V, and emitter-base voltage of 6V. Continuous collector current is 1.5A with a peak pulse capability of 3A. The transition frequency is 260MHz, making it suitable for moderate-speed switching.
The transistor is housed in an ultra-small SOT-323 surface mount package, ideal for space-constrained designs. Power dissipation is 300mW on standard FR-4 with minimum recommended pad layout, or 500mW with a 1in² copper pad. The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to 150°C. The device is RoHS3 compliant, lead-free by design, and halogen free (green device). Moisture sensitivity level is 1 per J-STD-020D. A complementary PNP type (2DB1689) is available.
