The TE Connectivity 292304-1 is a USB 2.0 Type-B receptacle connector designed for cable-to-board applications. It features a standard profile with a right-angle orientation and through hole solder termination. The connector is shielded and includes a board lock locking feature for secure PCB mounting. It has 4 positions with a centerline pitch of 2.5 mm and is rated for up to 1 A per contact and 30 VAC.
This USB connector is housed in a black thermoplastic material with a UL 94V-0 flammability rating and an MSL rating of 1. The contact mating area is plated with gold or gold flash over palladium nickel, providing reliable signal transmission. The connector is halogen free and RoHS compliant.
