The TE Connectivity 292207-2 is a 2-position, 1-row, vertical through-hole header from the AMP Mini CT series. It features a fully shrouded 4-wall design with a detent lock for secure mating, and a board guide for alignment during assembly. The connector is designed for wire-to-board applications.
This header uses kinked pin solder termination with square brass pins plated with tin. The contact mating area length is 2.4mm, and the square post dimension is 0.5mm. The staggered contact layout and 3mm termination tail length facilitate reliable PCB mounting. The insulator is made of glass-filled polyamide (PA/Nylon) with a flammability rating of UL94 V-0.
Electrical ratings include a maximum current of 2A and a voltage rating of 50VAC. The operating temperature range is -30°C to 105°C. The connector is not sealable and does not include strain relief. It is designed for use with a recommended PCB thickness of 1.6mm.
