The Littelfuse 2920L150DR is a polymeric positive temperature coefficient (PTC) resettable fuse designed for overcurrent protection in medium-voltage applications. It belongs to the 2920L series and offers a hold current of 1.5A at 20°C still air, with a trip current of 3.0A. The device can withstand a maximum voltage of 33V DC and a maximum current of 40A. In the tripped state, the typical power dissipation is 1.5W.
This resettable fuse has a fast time to trip: at 8A, it trips in typically 2 seconds. The initial resistance is as low as 80 mΩ, and after tripping or reflow soldering, the maximum resistance is 230 mΩ. The operating temperature range is from -40°C to 85°C.
The 2920L150DR is surface-mountable with a 2920 (7351 Metric) concave package, measuring 7.35mm in length, 5.12mm in width, and a maximum thickness of 1.25mm. It is suitable for automated assembly and is compatible with standard reflow soldering processes.
