The Phoenix Contact 2905652 is a Type 1/2 surge protection base designed for DIN rail mounting. It measures 77.1 x 17.6 x 89.2 mm and features a black PBT housing with V0 flammability rating. The device offers IP20 degree of protection and operates in ambient temperatures from -40°C to 80°C with humidity up to 95%. It is rated for altitudes up to 2000 m and withstands shock up to 25g and vibration up to 5g.
Electrically, the base supports a maximum continuous operating voltage of 600 V AC at 50/60 Hz. The rated load current is 80 A when using serial 16 mm² through wiring. It has a short-circuit resistance and ISCCR of 25 kA. Backup fuses up to 160 A (gL/gG) for branch wiring and 80 A AC for V-type through wiring are supported. Connection is via Biconnect screw terminal blocks with M5 thread.
