The 28FLZ-RSM1-TB is a 28-position, 0.5mm pitch FFC/FPC connector manufactured by JST. It is designed for surface mount, right angle orientation and uses a bottom contact configuration. The connector features a zero insertion force (ZIF) slide lock mechanism and solder retention for reliable mounting.
Key mechanical specifications include a pitch of 0.50mm (0.020"), a height above board of 2.00mm (0.079"), and an FFC/FPC thickness of 0.30mm. The housing and actuator are made of polyamide (PA46/Nylon 4/6) with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating. Contacts are phosphor bronze with a tin-lead finish.
Electrical ratings are 0.5A current and 50V voltage. Contact resistance is 40mΩ initial (max 60mΩ after environmental testing), insulation resistance is 800MΩ minimum, and withstanding voltage is 200V AC/minute. The operating temperature range is -25°C to 85°C.
