The TE Connectivity 280621-1 is a socket contact from the AMPMODU I series, designed for rectangular connector systems. It accepts 18-22 AWG wire with an insulation diameter range of 0.32-0.9 mm. The contact is terminated by crimping and features a gold finish with a thickness of 0.80 µm (31.5 µin) over a phosphor bronze base material.
This contact is suitable for use in a wide range of interconnection applications requiring reliable signal or power transmission. The gold plating provides good corrosion resistance and stable contact performance over multiple mating cycles.
