The TE Connectivity 280385-1 is a 16-position shrouded header from the AMPMODU II series. It features two rows with a 2.54mm pitch and row spacing, designed for through-hole mounting on printed circuit boards. The header is shrouded with a 3-wall design and includes a detent lock for secure mating with AMPMODU II receptacles.
Contact base material is phosphor bronze with tin plating on both the mating area and solder tails. The termination end plating thickness is 3.5µm. The housing is made of black thermoplastic with a UL 94V-0 flammability rating.
Electrically, the header is rated for 3A current and 40V voltage, with a dielectric withstanding voltage of 750V. The operating temperature range is -65°C to 105°C. This connector is suitable for board-to-board or cable-to-board applications in industrial, consumer, and automotive environments. Packaging is 500 units per box/carton.
