The Phoenix Contact 2800837 is a 1-pole thermomagnetic device circuit breaker from the CB TM1 series, featuring the SFB (Selective Fast Blow) tripping characteristic. It is rated for 2A continuous current and is suitable for 277V AC (UL 1077) or 240V AC (IEC 60934) operation, as well as 50V DC. The breaker provides a short-circuit switching capacity of 300A at 240V AC.
Designed for plug-in mounting on a base element, the compact housing measures 45mm height, 12.3mm width, and 52mm depth. The actuation is via a slide switch, and the device is rated IP30 in the actuation area. It operates over an ambient temperature range of -30°C to 60°C and can be stored from -40°C to 80°C.
The SFB characteristic is optimized for overcurrent protection on long cable paths, making it suitable for industrial control panels and power distribution applications. The breaker is rated for pollution degree 2 and uses insulating material group II. A backup fuse of 15A is required.
