The Wago 280-520 is a double-deck feed-through terminal block from the 280 Series, designed for DIN-rail mounting on 35 x 15 mm and 35 x 7.5 mm rails. It provides 4 clamping units across 2 levels, enabling efficient wiring in space-constrained control cabinets.
This terminal block uses CAGE CLAMP® spring pressure connection technology for fast, maintenance-free wiring. It accepts solid and stranded copper or aluminum conductors from 0.08 mm² to 2.5 mm² without requiring ferrule crimping. Front-entry wiring simplifies installation and inspection.
Electrically, the 280-520 is rated at 20 A nominal current and 500 V nominal voltage per IEC/EN 60947-7-1, with a rated impulse withstand voltage of 6 kV (overvoltage category III, pollution degree 3). Power loss per pole is 0.532 W at 20 A. The terminal block is gray and supports connection of copper and aluminum conductors (aluminum requires WAGO Aluminum Contact Paste 249-130 for solid conductors up to 4 mm²/12 AWG).
