The Wago 279-835 is a 4-conductor through terminal block from the 279 series, designed for DIN-35 x 15 and DIN-35 x 7.5 rails. It features the proven CAGE CLAMP® spring connection technology for maintenance-free wiring without special tools or ferrule preparation.
Accepting solid and fine-stranded copper conductors from 0.08 to 1.5 mm² (28-16 AWG), the terminal block is rated for 18A continuous current and 800V nominal voltage per IEC/EN 60947-7-1. The black housing measures 4 mm wide, 73 mm high, and 31.5 mm deep, with front-entry wiring and a required strip length of 8-9 mm.
This terminal block is suitable for classic through-wiring or distributing potential in industrial and building installations. It provides 4 clamping units on a single potential level with center marking for easy identification.
