The Wago 279-831 is a 4-conductor feed through terminal block from the 279 Series. It features four clamping units for connecting a single potential. The CAGE CLAMP® spring connection technology allows fast and secure wiring without special tools. The terminal block is rated at 800V and 18A per IEC/EN 60947-7-1, with a rated surge voltage of 8 kV. It accepts solid and fine-stranded copper conductors from 0.08 to 1.5 mm². The strip length is 8 to 9 mm. The gray housing is made of polyamide (PA66). Front-entry wiring simplifies installation. The terminal block mounts on DIN-35 rails (35 x 15 or 35 x 7.5). It is suitable for industrial and building applications requiring reliable through wiring or potential distribution.
