The Wago 2716-158 is an 8-pole PCB terminal block from the 2716 series, featuring a screwless spring cage (CAGE CLAMP) connection with lever actuation for tool-free wiring. It accepts solid and fine-stranded conductors from 1.5 mm² to 16 mm² (6-16 AWG) with a recommended strip length of 12 to 13 mm. The block is rated for 76 A (IEC/EN 60664-1) and supports voltages up to 630 V (IEC/EN 60664-1 overvoltage cat II, pollution deg 2). UL 1059 ratings are 55 A at 300 V (Group B and C) and 10 A at 300 V (Group D).
Designed for through-hole (THT) soldering, the terminal block has a 30° conductor insertion angle and solder pins measuring 0.95 x 1.2 mm with a length of 4.5 mm. The housing is gray, and the contact surface is tin-plated. The overall dimensions are 80 mm (width) x 33.3 mm (height) x 35 mm (depth), with a pin spacing of 10 mm.
This terminal block is suitable for high-current wire-to-board connections in industrial control, automation, and building infrastructure. The lever actuation simplifies wiring and maintenance, making it ideal for applications requiring frequent reconnection.
