The Wago 257-448 is a 48-position PCB terminal block from the 257 Series, featuring the CAGE CLAMP® connection technology. It is designed for quick and easy conductor termination without the need for ferrules or special tools, using a push-button actuation mechanism. This terminal block accepts solid and fine-stranded conductors from 0.08 to 2.5 mm² (12-28 AWG) with a strip length of 5 to 6 mm.
Electrical ratings include a rated current of 24 A per IEC/EN 60664-1 and 15 A per UL 1059 and CSA. Voltage ratings vary by standard and pollution degree, with up to 630 V for IEC category II/pollution degree 2 and 300 V for UL/CSA. The rated impulse withstand voltage is 4 kV.
