The Wago 256-408 is an 8-position PCB terminal block from the 256 Series, featuring a 5.08mm pin spacing and a 45° conductor entry angle. It uses the CAGE CLAMP connection technology with push-button actuation for tool-free wire termination, accepting solid and fine-stranded conductors from 0.08 to 2.5 mm² (12-28 AWG) with a strip length of 5-6 mm.
Rated at 15A/300V per UL 1059 (Use Group B) and 24A/250V per IEC/EN 60664-1 (Overvoltage Cat III, Pollution Deg 3), this terminal block offers a rated impulse withstand voltage of 4 kV. The through-hole design with solder pin dimensions of 0.7 x 0.7 mm ensures reliable PCB mounting.
