The Microchip Technology 24AA014H-I/ST is a 1 Kbit Serial Electrically Erasable PROM (EEPROM) designed for single-supply operation down to 1.7V. It utilizes a 2-wire serial interface bus compatible with I2C™ standards and operates at clock frequencies of up to 400 kHz.
This device is organized as a single block of 128 x 8-bit memory. It features low-power CMOS technology with a maximum active current of 400 μA and a maximum standby current of 1 μA. The EEPROM supports a page write buffer for up to 16 bytes and offers a self-timed write cycle with auto-erase.
Key features include Schmitt trigger inputs for noise suppression and output slope control to eliminate ground bounce. The 24AA014H-I/ST has hardware write protection for half the array. Address lines allow up to eight devices on the same bus for a total of 8 Kbits of contiguous EEPROM memory. It boasts 1 million erase/write cycles and data retention exceeding 200 years.
The 24AA014H-I/ST is available in an 8-pin TSSOP package, suitable for surface mounting. It operates within an industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
