Inner contacts are plated with 30 µ" gold over 50 µ" nickel, and the shell features 200 µ" tin-lead (93/7) over 100 µ" nickel.

 

Electrically, the socket is rated for 3 A current, 100 VRMS / 150 VDC voltage, with 10 mΩ maximum contact resistance and 10,000 MΩ minimum insulation resistance. It operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 125°C. Mechanical life is rated at 1,000 cycles minimum with no discontinuity under shock or vibration. The accepting lead range is 0.381-0.635 mm (0.015"-0.025").
